Eric W. Crowther

MSW, RSW

I am a Registered Social Worker who received my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in individual, family, and group therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1985.

I have trained numerous mental health professionals in providing services, taught social work courses at both the college and university level and have presented on forgiveness at social work conferences across North America.

I have been immensely influenced by the works of the psychologist Dr. Robert D. Enright, the psychiatrist Aaron T. Beck, the theologian, Karl Barth, and the philosophers, Dallas Willard and Jean Vanier.

My passions, outside of God, family and work, are photography, gardening, reading (history, psychology, and theology), writing, and canoeing.

The Ontario distributor for the International Forgiveness Institute curriculum guides from kindergarten to grade 12.

Developed by Dr. R. D. Enright, the International Forgiveness Institute manuals are based on the principles of developmental psychology and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) . The guides not only emphasize moral qualities, but help children develop empathy and regulation of emotions early in their lives.

Currently, the manuals are being used in Northern Ireland, Brazil, Colombia, Korea, Taiwan, Liberia, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Serbia, Singapore and Turkey.

Forgiveness starts today.
